Air Suction Manifolds

Air Suction Manifolds are easy to install in every kind of filter box or wherever more airflow is required.Example: a motor with four cylinders and 2000 cc displacement has a unitary displacement of 500 cc. Then the filter box should contain 500×19=9500 cc, that is 9.5 litres. Measure the capacity of your box and you will see that you will never have the flow needed. The manifold can in no way increase the volumetric capacity of the box, but it enables it not to depress when the motor reaches the peak of suction, that is to say in the peak of torque, by supplying a supplementary suction inlet. Now someone could think that it would be sufficient to make a hole in the box without spending money on manifolds. This could be theoretically done, but a hole of 50 millimetres would react, because of the produced turbulences, like a hole of 20 millimetres that sucks air in a chaotic and whirling way worsening and not improving the motor breathing. The manifolds are available in three standard measures: Short: H 3.3 cm, hole in the box side 40mm Medium: H 6.8 cm, hole in the box side 40mm Long: H 11.2 cm, hole in the box side 40mm They could also be built according to customers’ needs.

We solved this problem by developing and building a new air suction Collector for Fire Motors ( Fiat 500 Sporting and Fiat Punto 75 and 55 ) that allow the use of multipoint injection and bigger throttle valves. It is possible to use a throttle valve up to 60 mm diameter.

Fuel Pression Control Triple

New 3-position petrol pressure regulator. With this new model you can choose the desired incremental ratio compared to the turbine pressure. You can choose among the following ratios: (1 to 1) –( 1 to 1.4) –( 1 to 2.4) The regulator has two air inlets that are used according to specific fuel-setting requirements. Using the bottom inlet you will have ratio 1 to 1 (in other words, 1 bar of the turbine pressure will be equal to an increase of 1 bar of petrol pressure) Using the top inlet you will have ratio 1 to 1.4 (in other words, 1 bar of turbine pressure will be equal to an increase of 1.4 bar of petrol pressure).
Using both inlets, you will have ratio 1 to 2.4 (in other words, 1 bar of turbine pressure will be equal to an increase of 2.4 bar of petrol pressure), all this maintaining to the function of the manual regulation of the pressure benzine. On request, an air inlet pilot controller can be supplied.
This controller can control just one inlet. Therefore one inlet ( 1 to 1 or 1 to 1.4) will always be operated with pressure and vacuum and the other will be piloted by the controller. The controller will be activated in the presence of two signals (which can be set at choice).

Before purchasing,many people ask if our HKSLE6 system will resolve the problem of the “ anomaly”LED switching on,after eliminating the catalyst or after installing a sports or metal one.Since we created the first device KSL (rounghly 15 years ago) we have managed to acquire considerable experience and awareness concerning the various causes that make the anomaly LED switch on.
I will try to explain in just a few sentences very clearly so that even novices are able understand the various problems.Vehi les of just 15 years ago had rather bland detection and anti-pollution system; consequently,it was rather simple to resolve the problem after the various “ tampering “ actions.Even if somebody had worked on the electronics and had modified the data with excessive corrections,the result was equally guaranteed.Nowadays,the situation is totally different in view of the modern exhaust gas detection  and correction system and it possible to encounter anomalies and LEDs that switch on even with c completely original vehicles.So let’s getv right into the explanation.the mere elimination of the catalyst on Euro 5/6 vehicles does not entail just the usualk anomaly of the “ engine anomaly “ LED switching on the dashboard.it creates a combination of situation, bound to one another, and that cannot all be resolved with our product HKSLE6 (or others, if there are any).
In this operation is associated with the reprogramming of the control unit with incorrect or incompatible injection times or excessive ignition advance angles, the final combustion product (exhaust gas) would be well beyond the limits and suchthat it CANNOT be correct just by using the HKSLE6 system.in fact, even if the product is a real catalyst,it is not able to perform or completely treat the gases with a beneficial or substitute Effect (considering the minimum measurement of the part exposed to tje gases) of a real catalyst,wich is 2500 times bigger.it we just analyse the elimination of the catalyst,without any other modifications, we could suppose to have removed just the catalyst.this is not true,because we have installed a substitute tube instead of the catalyst,we have definitely altered the flow,temperature and velocity of the exhaust gases. No problem up to here,if it wasn’t for the fact that these factors are preponderant in view of the “ suction “effect” applied on the discharge Valve when it crosses the suction valve, which has teh task of taking some of the air,in addition to that normally in-taken to the combustion chamber.This naturally occurs at certain running rates, with higher peaks in the project points calculated in the development phase.
Therefore,having annulled or enhanced this effect, there could be too much or too little oxygen in the fuel setting. This depends on the diameter of the substitute catalyst tube chosen. If these variations are within the limit of 5-7%, the our HKSLE6 system will be able to manage them. if this situation is associated with a correction of the petrol map or of the advance map, (not assessed appropriately) in emission control points (usually from 1000 to 4500 rpm) or with the accelerator open by less than 60°,the anomaly LED will definitely switch on even with our HKSLE6 system if the fuel setting is “ rich “ it wiill create a high concentration of CO (carbon monoxide) which is difficult for a mini catalyst to manage (values of euro 5-6 = 1 g/km)the other way around if the fuel setting is too lean,it will increase the nitrogen oxides excessively NOx. (values of euro 5-6 = 0,06 g/km) , these too are difficult to manage.Therefore,what we advise you to do is assess tho modifications to be made or the modifications already made on the specific vehicle, on a case-to-case and car-to car basis,before you eliminate or replace the catalyzing unit.

This product is NOT HOMOLOGATED to be driven on roads open to traffic. It is designed exclusively to be used where current laws allow so. Autofficina Bonalume is therefore not liable for any personal injuries or material damages caused by or created through the improper use of the product.
Before you start reading the technical specifications, we inform you that we do in any event advise you not to remove the catalyser for any reason whatsoever.
The new version of the ksl product is now available. This product does not replace the previous product but actually amplifies the range. The difference between the two products lies in the operating temperature that they are able to withstand. This new model called HKSL can be installed even in vehicles with very short exhausts or manifolds such as the following: PORSCHE-FERRARI-LOTUS-etc. In these vehicles the Lambda probes are very near the engine, therefore the exhaust gas is much hotter and much faster compared to a vehicle with long exhaust or manifold, or at least compared to a vehicle with engine at the front and exhaust that runs right along the vehicle before is reaches the outlet. This is because, in such configuration, the Lambda probes are much further away from the engine compared to the versions just mentioned.

Then there are other cases such as vehicles with aspirated or turbo engines, which either due to an exasperated preparation or due to a “weak” fuel mix, have the same conditions of high temperature or high speed of the exhaust gas. Such condition is unbearable for the Lambda probes too (failures in Lambda probes are indeed very often caused by high temperatures) and so we have re-designed and produced another and new model of the ksl product. The new HKSL product is able to withstand temperatures of around 1150 degrees. The high cost of the materials used and the processing times, which are tens times those of the previous version, have a negative effect on the end price. The new HKSL product does NOT REPLACE THE PREVIOUS KSL PRODUCT.

E1 valve, new POWER POP

The need to create this new product did not originate merely from the demand of a racing product but from the real problems related to this valve installed originally in all the tjet engines of the Fiat-Alfa-Lancia-Abarth Group.

Being a diaphragm, this valve does not withstand high pressure and temperature peaks, as was requested, which cause it to break and also negatively affect the performance of the engine, both in acceleration and at a steady running rate (power loss in acceleration).
Some problems even appear in a healthy diaphragm, but with higher turbine pressures (after programming the control unit).
Whilst developing the project, we added the possibility for the customer to be able to interchange the three solutions.

Consequently, a customer who purchases the valve can decide whether to purchase the version with internal discharge or the version with external discharge or switch type (open ES1 – closed EB1 – E1SWITCH both solutions with sound management).
The specifications of the our E1 valve are definitely outstanding; this valve is not only Plug & Play in the mechanical, electrical and electronic parts, but also has the superior specifications referred to the original product:

  • No closing diaphragm, but a plastic piston, designed for very high temperatures (beyond 270° therefore no possibility of breakage);

Unlike the previous versions we created, this system integrates a new micrometric pressure control system, which allows you to adjust and manage the pressure with intervals of hundredths of a bar to obtain and control minimum increases in pressure, power and torque, without the control unit entering recovery status.
It also proves useful when reprogramming the control unit where you are unable to obtain the attempted pressure.
Adjustments are made using a special little turning hand, and in steps of just a few degrees apart, to increase or decrease by just a few hundredths (2 to be precise).
This mechanical feature allows you to move forward or backward always in the same identical position without losing the adjustments made.
As in all our overboost systems, adjustments are made without releasing air externally.
A preloaded spring system with different working sections of the pressure allows continuous and precise adjustment and modulation, keeping the set value constant, applying a slight response delay, which will allow you to obtain also a small pressure peak different from the constant pressure set. This favours a higher torque.

To face this problem it is sufficient to replace the Waste Gate with one more appropriate to the needs of the turbine.
Our Waste Gates are completely built with ergal and are hard anodised and therefore can resist at high pressure and temperatures, besides they have no kind of diaphragm but a piston that has a stroke that is double than in a normal waste gate.
To order it, it is sufficient to state the pressure you want to obtain and the car model. In some cases our Waste Gates are equipped with bolt and tie rods, while in other cases the installation needs the original bolt. Because these cars do not have much available space, it is not possible to use a waste gate of appropriate diameter, which would be able to control backpressures on the exhaust and simultaneously manage the supercharging control pressure. Some brands and manufacturers of waste gates supply this valve with interchangeable springs, leaving the difficult and tricky task of choosing between two probable options up to the installer: the first, is that of having a good pressure at high running rates, but with exaggerate and dangerous pressure peaks at medium running rates (which cannot be governed via the mapping of the control unit) the second, is a compromise to contain the peaks at medium running rates, but always with a pressure drop at high running rates (even if to a smaller but still obvious extent) (I have intentionally ignored the third option, which would be that of the weaker spring, or return to the original waste gate, which would however lead inevitably to a drop in pressure at high running rates). All this burdened by having to sort out mapping and replace springs, which are consequently time wasting and costly. We have consequently developed a new technology that is able to control and manage both problems 100%. This is where a new generation of waste gates comes in: They are totally plug and play and without having to make modifications to be able to install them. There is no need for tests and attempts to adjust the control rod, which will be set exactly as the original one. The turbine peak and constant pressure will be set at 100% by the map without having to replace springs or make inappropriate adjustments. There is no diaphragm subject to probable breakage. They are made entirely of automotive aluminium and heat and slip-treated with internal and external surface Teflon hardening treatment.
